This blog is not a representation of my professional business as a photographer. It is simply just for fun and sometimes explains how I go about capturing an image.

In this blog I post photographs and videos from my work with clients, my travels, my personal projects and just about anything I find interesting on my day to day routine. It's an inconsistent mash up of the visual mishaps and adventures of my existence.

Koffin Kats
Went to a show after contacting the bands and brought my cameras. Got right up against the stage and shot my friends band, She Likes Todd, as well as The Ugly and the Koffin Kats. This show was high energy and the crowd was nuts. All the bands put on excellent shows and I walked away with some decent shots. The light at this venue is pretty poor, more so than most, but it worked out alright. I didn’t have any room to move around and get different angles. I was in the crowd with everyone else trying to get the shots and not get pushed down from the people behind me.
I’ve been here before, the Brauerhouse in Lombard, IL. The stage is small so I knew what I wanted to bring. 5D MKII with a 16-35 f2.8 and my 7D with a 35 f1.4. That 35 was almost a 50 on my 7D and gave me enough range for what I wanted.
Yeah I got beer spilled on me, yeah I got beer spilled on my 35, yeah I got knocked down a couple times and yeah I had a helluva time. Check out more of the shows photos on my facebook page: Photo Tsumi on Facebook More to come…
